Find your tree is a closing activity for an outdoor expedition, hike or stationary camp in nature. It provides an experience of noticing how much your senses develop when reconnected with nature for several days. Participants are divided into pairs and receive one blindfold per pair. They choose who will be the Sherpa and who will be the blindfolded participant at first. The Sherpa takes the blindfolded participant for a short walk around the camping area and offers to find a tree that the blindfolded person will recognize. Once a tree is chosen and inspected by touch the Sherpa brings the blindfolded person to the starting point, takes their blindfold off and offers to find their tree without hints.
The method is about reconnecting with nature, playing with your senses and having a meaningful closure with the camping spot or hiking area.
